GET INVOLVED
At Recipes from the Heart, we believe in the power of food and community to bring people together and create meaningful connections.

There are many ways to get involved with out work, either through direct donation, by contributing a recipe, or hosting a fundraising meal.
Donate Directly
Recipes from the Heart supports INARA through its fundraising efforts. If you are interested in donating directly to the organisation, we encourage you to visit their website and directly donate funds through their fundraising channels.
Volunteer Your Time
If you are interested in volunteering for — or partnering with — Recipes from the Heart, we encourage you to reach out to us directly at contact@RFTH.com. We are a team of dedicated volunteers, passionate about making a difference, and can always use an extra set of hands, additional skills, or fundraising ideas.
Contribute a Recipe
Share a Recipe from the Heart — a tried and tested dish handed down through your family, or a go-to favourite you have made on your own. We are collecting recipes to put together in a recipe book of favourites our fundraising efforts. More information about this project is below.
Host a Fundraising Meal
We encourage those interested in contributing to our initiative to host fundraising meals for friends and family! We believe hosting meals can help us set aside differences, eat in harmony together and further our mission of creating a community that cares and seeks reconciliation where there is conflict. More information about how to host a fundraising meal is below.
HOST A FUNDRAISING MEAL
Invite your family and friends to a fundraising meal, in support of INARA.
Hosting a fundraising meal is a great way bring your family, friends and community together for a wonderful cause. Recipes from the Heart believes in the power of food to promote harmony and reconciliation, and we encourage volunteers to host fundraising meals. We will soon be uploading a helpful guide on how to organise a successful and impactful fundraising meal.
We encourage you to share photos and stories from your fundraising meal with us! We'd love to post them on social media and include them on our website.
SUBMIT PHOTOS AND STORIES AT CONTACT@RFTH.COM WITH THE SUBJECT LINE "FUNDRAISING MEAL."
CONTRIBUTE A RECIPE
Help us put together a book of tried and tested recipes from the heart to fundraise for children in conflict.
Whether it's a starter, a main course, or a dessert — or all three — we encourage you to share your favourite home recipes to be considered for our Recipes from the Heart fundraising book. In addition to sharing the recipe — key ingredients and preparation steps — we encourage you share the story behind the recipe, photos showcasing the dish and the people behind it, and the reason why you chose to share it.
We believe that food is a physical, cultural and social experience, serving as a bridge between peoples. We hope to use these recipes to foster community, share diverse stories from around the world, and raise funds and awareness for the challenges facing children in conflict. Through our efforts, we hope to seek reconciliation and promote harmony.

Recipes from the Heart is currently developing an online fundraising recipe book.
A print version of the book will be available in 2026.
